Evaluating the Palestinian's English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Textbooks of the Secondary Stage Using Textbooks Evaluation Standards

The study aimed at evaluating the Palestinian EFL textbooks of secondary stage in terms standards for textbooks. In order to achieve objectives, descriptive analytical approach was adopted. sample included four scholastic year 2020/2021. evaluate textbooks, instrumentation a list (32) built. were listed under five domains (textbook introduction, textbook content, activities, assessment procedures students, and layout). light new instrument, process evaluation conducted. found that highly met having reached percentage up (75.6%, mean 3.78); this interpreted based on scale. offered many recommendations, most important which planners should prepare meet students' life, introduction identify learning sources guide students how use textbook, activities level.
